Here at Ginger, we are again celebrating not just one, but TWO Big Wins!

For the 2nd time in just 2 years, we’re delighted that our Video Campaigns have contributed to one of our clients winning not one, but 2 major awards at the Construction Marketing Awards (CMA’s) 2022. On top of that they were highly recommended for a third!

James Latham is the UK’s biggest independent distributor of timber and panel products.  They supply products to a wide range of customers, from contractors and merchants, through to designers. We’ve been working with Lathams for almost 4 years, helping them with their marketing by producing both video and digital campaigns.

What awards were won?   

James Latham won ‘Best Distributor Marketing Campaign and ‘Best Big Budget Campaign’ (50k+) and they were Highly Recommended for ‘Best Use of Website’

Some of the other shortlisted businesses were big household names, so tough competition, which makes it even more of a win!

What was our contribution?  

We’re extremely proud of our contribution in James Latham’s win at this year’s Construction Marketing Awards, and also of our talented team. Read below about the awards and how we contributed:

1. The Best Distributor Marketing Campaign was won by Lathams for their ‘Carbon Calculator’ campaign

The aim of the campaign was to raise awareness with James Latham’s customers about their new, innovative carbon calculator, which they wanted to showcase and market. The carbon calculator enables them to show the carbon footprint and biogenic carbon content of their timber product ranges.

 So what did we do?

  • An animation video was a great way to showcase the calculator, and in this case we produced a bespoke hand-drawn animation video.
  • We then ran a 4-month digital paid advertising campaign on Facebook, Google Display, YouTube, Twitter and LinkedIn.

2. Best Big Budget Campaign (50k+) for the ‘Digital Showroom’ campaign

Lathams have a Digital Showroom, which allows customers to search their products, allowing them to easily browse and explore their product range, create projects and order samples.

So, what did we do?  

We ran an extremely successful digital PPC campaign, which consisted of a 3-month campaign on LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.

These wins couldn’t have happened without our talented video and PPC teams, nor without our ongoing relationship with James Latham and their fantastic product range.
